January 31, 2010my angel from heaven
December 17, 2009sweet sweet girl, i adore you more than you will ever know. you ARE my angel even without the wings, you are my one and only little lucy and I will ALWAYS love you forever, you have changed my life and i am a better person because of you.
I LOVE YOU LUCY!

baby love
November 26, 2009forget the fact that i am 18 I WANT ONE!!!!! even with all the screaming, snot, poo and vomit there are the giggles, smiles, laughter and joy which overpower all the bad things. i got to do a mini session with L (2), K (3 months) and their amazing mum. i love that family, so lovely and it was with great enthusiasm that i went to their house that lovely thursday morning. one HUGE up side of shooting babies is that you get to hold them, so small, warm and wriggly. last halloween we did nothing LOL i can remember it, katy was ill, so ellen and i came over and entertained lucy (me thinks she entertained us) and matt drove us down to the fish andchippy in the pouring rain to get fish and chips which were sooooooooo good! we watched strictly come dancing and found that lucy loved these toy ducks that she could pull along. it started with lucy pulling it along but before we knew it she had passed the job onto ellen, she may be little but boy is she clever, even at 11 months!!!
its funny how so much can change in a year… ambitions, friends, family, etc. this picture seems such a long time ago now, it was in the era of ‘completely bald lucy’ where we were saying, ’she will get hair when she is 1, when she is 1′. well her first birthday came and went and still not even a sprout of hair. the months went on and suddenly we had one strand, not long but it was something! to reassure ourselves (her daddy is COMPLETELY and UTTERLY bald) we started saying, ‘when she is 2, when she is 2′… well unless her hair grows considerably in 4 weeks i think we will be saying, ‘when she is 3, when she is 3′ LOL the picture below is not by any means a technically ‘good’ picture but I love the bond between lucy and her mummy. this was her halloween costume last year, she is a fairy/witch this year!!! pics to come on thursday/friday!
R.I.P. ernest
October 22, 2009i promise i am not crazy but bees are so misunderstood, if you are afraid of them then they will be afraid of you, simple as. bees are essential to our way of life in ways we can’t imagine and they are just so bumbley and helpful! when i came home from college today i found this little guy taking his last steps before it was his time to pass on to ‘bee heaven’, it was so cold outside so i picked him up and brought him in, he may be ‘just’ a bee but everyone needs someone. i called him ernest, i mean you have to have a name for such a beautiful little guy.
the second he was inside he nestled into the creases of my hoodie and about 3 hours later after an americas next top model marathon he slumped to the side and stopped moving. people that read this may think that i am stupid but whatever, why not? it made me feel happy to have helped such a little critter and i am sure he was grateful for me bringing him inside. so R.I.P. ernest!!
teeny tiny pigtails
October 21, 2009when editing the last photo i asked lucy which one she liked, she pointed at the screen and said ‘crapping’, i was all…. huh? turns out she meant clapping LOL
we played ‘bands’ today which basically involves lucy sitting in front of me biting her lip whilst i try and find a clust of hair to wrap the bands around, its difficult to say the least. after that and one very sticky ‘wollypop’ later we watched in the night garden and i got this pic, she was smiling at the stupidly named characters ‘iggle piggle’ ‘upsy daisy’ and ‘makka packa’, o and who could forget the ‘tombiliboos’?
we <3 you nana!

this week @ i heart faces the topic is ‘pink’ in honor of breast cancer awareness month. i personally know one very special person to me who had breast cancer. with the stength and determenation from herself and her extremely supportive family she won her battle! when i look at lucy i hope that in her future she will not have to worry about cancer, that there will will be a cure that can save MILLIONS of people from this dreadful disease.
so today we are celebrating, celebrating the wonderful people that have fought and won their battle, remembering and thinking about those who earned their angel wings and those who have been affected by this disease. be grateful for the people around you, remember the special things, don’t take ANYTHING for granted. below is one of my favourite lucy faces, i hope she will get to see this herself when she has her own children, PLEASE do all you can to help support breast cancer awareness!
in the process…
September 23, 2009…. of changing the blog, college has been super busy and on top of that i have lucy etc so there is not a lot of time to spend on other things! i can’t wait to change the design though, still not 100% sure on how it’s gonna look but rest assured it will look differant soon.
i am gonna keep it as a photography blog but as a personal one as well, there are so many other things to talk about, so stay tunned!

our little trip to reigate hill
August 26, 2009ok so, kt, lucy and i went to reigate hill today so i could take pictures for college work it was so much fun!
there was hardly anyone around but that may have been because it was SUPER windy, i mean like gail force winds lol when we were right at the top lucy got knocked over by it, that was how strong it was. when we got to the top there were these 5 random cows (really big and fat as well LOL) just sitting there!!!!! just a funny day, here is a picture i just like from today:
