The third Song I would like to share is "Happy Ending" by Mika. There are two reasons why I love this video.
#1- It brings back memories for the 21st November 2007 when my gorgeous niece Lucy Ella Royce-Wood was born. I love Lucy to bits and everytime I hear this song it makes me smile.
#2- Wonderful memories come back from the 2008 ski trip with the school to Prato Nevoso. Well basically it was one of those days up on the mountain when you can't see 3 feet in front of you because of the thick cloud, to cut a long story short Jenny, Georgia and I were on a ski lift and we were signing this song and then we were like this:
"... no hope no love no glory no happy ending... SHIT!!!!"
lol! We couldn't see because of the cloud where the end was and we had to lift the bar up so quickly because we needed to get off. So funny!
For my second music video I am choosing 'Us Against The World' by Westlife. When I hear this song I am instanly break down crying. You might be thinking what? A good memorie, but actually it is. I listened to this song right after the most memerable episode of Holby City ever! There is something you all should know before we comense. I LOVETom Chambers who in Holby City plays gorgeous doctor Sam Stachen. His IMDB doesn't really give him much credit. His character in the program has cancer and nearly dies. It was so heartbreaking when this happened but then I had to remind myself, "Sophie, god, what are you doing? This is a TV program?" that just shows how great an actor he is. I heard this video after he got through his battle and it really brought me down to earth and reminded me of all the people that suffer from life threatening illnesses such as cancer. Everytime I hear this it makes me carry on with my belief of helping others more than you help yourself and it helps me focus on what's really important in life. So have a listen, see what you think:
Throughout this week I am going to post a series of songs. But you may be thinking, what?!? just random songs? Well the answer is no. All the songs that I am going to post bring back very special memories for me and I would like to share them with you. There are going to be seven of these starting from today. One for everyday of the the week. Ok here is the first:
Why this song? Well I was watching this episode of "Cold Case: Sabotage" and amazing child actress Kelly Gould was in it. Honestly this child makes it so believable and at one point you think she is dead but then she is not... it's just such an AMAZING song to. Minus Feat. Timberland though because it doesn't have the special instrumental part at the beginning. Well see what you think!
Well as you may have noticed this is my first post. I had a million and one things to say but now they have all just left me... Well I guess as this is a chance to say anything I better use this opportunity wisely.
Today was just boring... all that is ever on anyone mind is the dreaded 'R' word which is... Revision. God I just hate it! I can't understand how people can sit there for hours and hours on end going through their notes. In some respects it would be good to just be able to do that hour after hour. But that just isn't me. I either get distracted by a good program on TV or playing games or doing my websites.
Websites are a big part of my everyday life. They are my hobbie and the one thing that I can sit doing for a long period of time and not get bored. Don't get me wrong I am certainly NOT a computer freak but I like to know how things work and websites are just one of those amazing things. The best website is one that you have made yourself, that you have spent a lot of time and effort on. The result in the end is very rewarding, even satisfying that you have produced something so complex but yet so basic. That's why I like doing websites for other people, I find it very rewarding to myself and also someone else finds it very benefitial too. I have met just so many lovely people from making my websites. A few to name are:
Jade- I met this girl right at the beginning of the whole website thing. She lives in the Netherlands and is one of the loveliest people I could ever of met. I LOVE making 'Miss Mackenzie' with her and sharing all the latest gossip with her as soon as she comes on MSN. I can share anything with her I want and I know she won't judge me at all. That's the great thing about the internet, no one can judge you on first glance. Then when you see the picture of someone it doesn't matter what they look like at all because all you know is the person not the face.
Linny & Esmee- They taught me all the basics about websites. They were so patient when I started, answered all my questions and even once Esmee wrote me a tutorial!
All the family's- Ok here is my list... The Foy's, What lovely people. Just so genuine and caring. They have really made me see that Modeling and Acting isn't just a job it's a Hobbie and a really fun one at that. It has really gotten me thinking when reading there emails and I am so glad that I got the oppurtunity to meet these amazing people. Same goes with The Davis Family. God those people are nice! They talk about everyday life and not to much about the modeling. It is so nice to talk to the person behind the modeling. Then theres The Jourdens. God damn nice people to. I really enjoy their emails. They even took the time to call me on the phone!
So I think I am coming to the end of this post. I have lots more I could post but not right now. I kinda like this. It's fun. So I will be back soon!
