extremely happy memories...
Tuesday, 15 April 2008

The third Song I would like to share is "Happy Ending" by Mika. There are two reasons why I love this video.

#1- It brings back memories for the 21st November 2007 when my gorgeous niece Lucy Ella Royce-Wood was born. I love Lucy to bits and everytime I hear this song it makes me smile.

#2- Wonderful memories come back from the 2008 ski trip with the school to Prato Nevoso. Well basically it was one of those days up on the mountain when you can't see 3 feet in front of you because of the thick cloud, to cut a long story short Jenny, Georgia and I were on a ski lift and we were signing this song and then we were like this:

"... no hope no love no glory no happy ending... SHIT!!!!"

lol! We couldn't see because of the cloud where the end was and we had to lift the bar up so quickly because we needed to get off. So funny!

Here it is!

Sympathetic Memory...
Saturday, 12 April 2008

For my second music video I am choosing 'Us Against The World' by Westlife. When I hear this song I am instanly break down crying. You might be thinking what? A good memorie, but actually it is. I listened to this song right after the most memerable episode of Holby City ever! There is something you all should know before we comense. I LOVE Tom Chambers who in Holby City plays gorgeous doctor Sam Stachen. His IMDB doesn't really give him much credit. His character in the program has cancer and nearly dies. It was so heartbreaking when this happened but then I had to remind myself, "Sophie, god, what are you doing? This is a TV program?" that just shows how great an actor he is. I heard this video after he got through his battle and it really brought me down to earth and reminded me of all the people that suffer from life threatening illnesses such as cancer. Everytime I hear this it makes me carry on with my belief of helping others more than you help yourself and it helps me focus on what's really important in life. So have a listen, see what you think:

Good Memories...
Friday, 11 April 2008

Throughout this week I am going to post a series of songs. But you may be thinking, what?!? just random songs? Well the answer is no. All the songs that I am going to post bring back very special memories for me and I would like to share them with you. There are going to be seven of these starting from today. One for everyday of the the week. Ok here is the first:

Why this song? Well I was watching this episode of "Cold Case: Sabotage" and amazing child actress Kelly Gould was in it. Honestly this child makes it so believable and at one point you think she is dead but then she is not... it's just such an AMAZING song to. Minus Feat. Timberland though because it doesn't have the special instrumental part at the beginning. Well see what you think!

So.... The first post
Thursday, 3 April 2008

Well as you may have noticed this is my first post. I had a million and one things to say but now they have all just left me... Well I guess as this is a chance to say anything I better use this opportunity wisely.

Today was just boring... all that is ever on anyone mind is the dreaded 'R' word which is... Revision. God I just hate it! I can't understand how people can sit there for hours and hours on end going through their notes. In some respects it would be good to just be able to do that hour after hour. But that just isn't me. I either get distracted by a good program on TV or playing games or doing my websites.

Websites are a big part of my everyday life. They are my hobbie and the one thing that I can sit doing for a long period of time and not get bored. Don't get me wrong I am certainly NOT a computer freak but I like to know how things work and websites are just one of those amazing things. The best website is one that you have made yourself, that you have spent a lot of time and effort on. The result in the end is very rewarding, even satisfying that you have produced something so complex but yet so basic. That's why I like doing websites for other people, I find it very rewarding to myself and also someone else finds it very benefitial too. I have met just so many lovely people from making my websites. A few to name are:

So I think I am coming to the end of this post. I have lots more I could post but not right now. I kinda like this. It's fun. So I will be back soon!
